Living in a wood house is economical

Well built wood guarantees durable economies.

Economy in the construction

The advantages of a dry construction method are obvious. The construction is being done quicker and cleaner than the wet method (the concrete requires water). As the construction duration is shorter, the costs are significantly diminished. Thus the wood lift structure represents less than 20% of the construction costs; and as the mass of a wood house is much more reduced than a masonry house, on the more reduced lift lands the costs of the fundament works are implicitly reduced.

Economy in usage

The wood is the material with thermal performance. A wood house is naturally better insulated than a masonry construction and provides an economy of heat of 20%. The wood limits the maintenance costs; the protective treatments are made before the beginning of the construction and according applicable laws: the insecticides and the fungicides are applied only once. Regarding the water proof characteristic, it is fundamentally linked to the architectural conception, and respects the construction with wood techniques: veneering rest on the independent frame (structure) that ensures the ventilation and the election of the specific species. Generally, the costs of maintenance are limited to external dies and lacquer painting restorations.
