At Dorna Eco House, we believe that a well-built home starts with a carefully thought-out design and a production process controlled down to the last detail. With over 20 years of experience, we are both a manufacturer and builder of prefabricated timber houses, consistently delivering quality, precision, and professionalism.
The Stages That Define Dorna Eco House Quality
To deliver a high-quality final product, every phase of our process is handled with maximum responsibility. Here’s how we ensure quality, step by step:
- Advanced 3D Design – Powered by Cadwork
Every house is fully modeled in 3D using Cadwork, the leading design software for timber frame construction. This allows us to analyze every detail – structural, functional, and aesthetic.
A typical prefabricated house includes 10–15 on-site assembly details, and we verify them during the 3D design phase exactly as they will appear in real life. There's no room for error.
All execution decisions are made together with architects, engineers, and clients. This ensures each home reflects the specific needs of the project.
- Material Optimization and Integrated Planning
Quality control starts early – with optimized material use and minimal waste. We carefully select the timber, calculate dimensions efficiently, and plan all stages of the process: production, handling, loading, transport, and crane-assisted assembly.
- High-Standard CNC Manufacturing
The project is exported directly from Cadwork to our Hundegger CNC machine, where every piece is cut with millimeter precision. As a fully automated production facility, we minimize the risk of human error.
Each timber element is individually labeled – with information about its position within the panel, assembly location (factory or site), production number, and more.
- Two-Step Quality Inspection
Every prefabricated panel goes through two quality control stages:
- After the timber frame is completed
- After full panel assembly (including insulation and exterior layers)
We use detailed 3D drawings for visual checks and precise measurements. Each wall is physically inspected. Nothing leaves the factory without passing this final check.
- Labeling, Organization & Protection
All components are labeled and organized for efficient logistics. Panels delivered to the construction site are wrapped in protective weatherproof film.
Each delivery includes full technical documentation. Assembly becomes quick and seamless, as everything has already been verified and prepared in the factory.
Responsibility and Continuous Improvement
We are more than just a timber house builder – we are a reliable partner for residential projects, holiday cabins, commercial buildings, and tourism infrastructure.
We know we’re not perfect, but we are fully committed to continuous learning and improvement. We act quickly when needed and respond promptly to resolve any issues. For us, Dorna Eco House quality means being attentive, flexible, and always focused on excellence.
